Refuting initial reports that he would miss a month of action, New York Mets ace SP Jacob DeGrom could make his next start Monday after no structural damage was found in his elbow through a Wednesday MRI. A report by the New York Daily News was incorrect that DeGrom would be out a month with his hyperextended elbow and we were told directly by the media relations that was the case. In the end, this is a HUGE break for all DeGrom owners and the Mets as a whole as his ace power pitching numbers simply could not be replaced. DeGrom is in the midst of 18.1 scoreless innings in a row and is already on his way to a dominant season once again. What a break as this major crisis was averted.
