2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 16 ACTIVE/INACTIVE

Last active/inactive of the 2017 fantasy football season:

-In a major shock, Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine is active for the team Sunday versus the Denver Broncos.  So much for the Kapri Bibbs hype that took off Sunday morning.  Bench Bibbs everywhere as Perine will likely steal too much work for him to be worth using.

-In the biggest news of the day, New Orleans Saints wideout Michael Thomas is active and will start despite a late-week addition to the injury report due to a bum hamstring.  Thomas runs the risk literally of going out early with a setback and he also draws the capable Marcus Trufant on D.  Tough call here but you should roll with your best players in the championship game.

-DeVante Parker is active for the Miami Dolphins but he is not worth starting in such a high-stakes game.

-Both Vontaze Burfict and Dre Kirpartrick return for the Cincinnati Bengals this week to face the Detroit Lions and that should put a slight hurt on Matthew Stafford and Golden Tate.  Also the Lions will be without three starters on the offensive line which could spell more trouble for Stafford.

-Matt Forte is good to go for the New York Jets despite ongoing knee soreness.  He is a borderline RB 2 due to the presence of Bilal Powell.

-Devin Funchess is active and will be a WR 1 for the Carolina Panthers Sunday.  Start him with confidence as his shoulder is good enough to play.

-Atlanta Falcons ace wideout Julio Jones is active despite once again having injuries all over his body.  He still can't score for some reason but he should be obviously started everywhere.
