The Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed the obvious on Friday when they stated number 2 wideout DeSean Jackson would sit out Sunday's game due to the ankle injury the speedster sustained a week ago. With Jackson out of action versus the Carolina Panthers in an expected shootout, that means the much-maligned Mike Evans will be the clear top dog in the passing game; with third-wideout Chris Godwin taking on more of a responsibility. Anyone who has owned Evans this season knows how frustrating an experience it has been but he was quite good in last week's game when he scored for the first time since week 7 (and hauled in five balls overall) and a strong finish when the stakes are the highest means all will be forgiven. Bump Evans up on his expected output for this weel as a result and in deeper five-wideout formats, Godwin could be worth a look.
