Late-week injuries are always a huge red flag in the fantasy football world and oftentimes these results in a missed game from the injured party due to the lack of time to get healthy before kickoff. This seems to be such a situation with Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine who is looking like a no-go Sunday versus the Denver Broncos after he injured his groin during Thursday's practice. With Perine having missed the entirety of Friday's practice, the Redskins have him listed as questionable but with a big hill to climb to be active. That means Perine would cede the starting running back job to fourth-stringer Kapri Bibbs who is fresh off a four-game game in Week 14. Bibbs, of course, is the pass receiving replacement for the injured Chris Thompson and if Perine were to be out, he would inherit the lion's share of work running the ball as well. This could make Bibbs a sneaky play in PPR formats given his receiving chops and make him win out in a debate with guys like Theo Riddick or a Duke Johnson Sr. We are not saying to run out and grab Bibbs but opportunity is everything in fantasy football and the guy might be getting just that this weekend.
