2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 14 WAIVER ADDS

If you held onto the top waiver spot in your fantasy football league, this might be the time to use it as no less than three running backs could be available and big difference-makers down the stretch.

Peyton Barber:  With Doug Martin having performed horribly before missing last week's game with a concussion, it was nice to finally see a Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back do anything positive as Peyton Barber did this past Sunday.  The power back rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries, while adding four catches for another 41.  While Martin could return this week, Barber is now going to be the clear guy to own in this backfield.

Mike Davis:  It took 13 weeks but it appears the Seattle Seahawks finally have a number 1 back in the form of Mike Davis.  Davis is all shiftiness and speed which the Seahawks from severely lacked from Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy all year and he showed those skills in rushing for 64 yards on 14 carries, while adding four catches for 37.  Davis is a terrific receiver and can go from 0-60 in an instant.  He should be the top add in all fantasy football leagues this week.

Gio Bernard:  The concussion suffered by Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Joe Mixon Monday night will likely make it almost impossible for him to be cleared in time for Week 14 and so the PPR-loving Gio Bernard needs to be picked up where available.  Bernard has 100 percent recovered from his past torn ACL and he has always possessed terrific running/receiving skills while being stuck in a timeshare situation.  There will be no timeshare for Week 14 with Jeremy Hill on IR and Mixon likely out so in PPR formats especially Bernard should be a priority add.

Marquis Goodwin:  The ascension of Jimmy Garappolo under center for the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday had to be music to the ears of the speedy Goodwin who hauled in 8 balls for 99 yards in the team's win.  Goodwin can get deep in a hurry and also has the speed to create after the catch.  Finally with a capable QB at his disposal, Goodwin is a firm WR 3 moving forward.

Dede Westbrook:  Marqis Lee remains the top wideout on Jacksonville but the rookie Dede Westbook has now had two high-target weeks in a row.  The rookie has always flashed big-play ability and the Jags are starting to let QB Blake Bortles air things out more with Leonard Fournette struggling.

Jermaine Kearse:  Quietly New York Jets wideout Jermaine Kearse has posted back-to-back games of 100 receiving yards or more and QB Josh McCown has been on a crazy good roll all season to this point.  While Robbi Anderson is the top dog in the Jets' wide receiver hierarchy, he draws Denver CB Aqib Talib this week which should open up more looks for Kearse.

Trey Burton:  Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz suffered his own concussion Sunday night and that means his status for Week 14 is very iffy.  That means backup tight end Trey Burton is worth a look as an in-house replacement as his receiving skills are very polished.
