Already there is a bubbling at the surface for San Francisco 49ers track star wideout Marquise Goodwin. 8 catches out of 8 throws in Week 13 which just so happened to coincide with the installation of Jimmy Garoppolo at QB. With Goodwin now having a solid-to-potentially very good passer at his disposal, his blazing speed and route running can be shown off in a much more results-oriented way. Also keep in mind that 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan loves to pass the football as we saw during his Atlanta Falcons days when the 2016 Super Bowl runners-up broke all sorts of team records on that front and that should also help to further unlock Goodwin's massive potential. As far as Goodwin is concerned, he was a 2013 third-round pick by the Buffalo Bills who has dealt with brutal QB play his whole life. He was track star right up until turning pro and that explosiveness has always made him intriguing in terms of being an impactful fantasy football wideout. Now with Garoppolo at the helm, Goodwin is an absolute WR 3 this week with the potential to put up WR 2 numbers in a terrific matchup against the sieve-like Houston Texans secondary. We would start Goodwin everywhere this week and even going forward as the skills are there to really make his stamp on the fantasy football world.
