As soon as New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski absolutely layed out Buffalo Bills QB Tre'Davious White late in Sunday's game, the feeling a suspension was imminent was palpable. The hit by Gronk clearly crossed the line and so his one-game ban which was announced on Monday came as no shock. While Gronk has filed an appeal, he is likely to lose and will thus have to sit out Week 14 just like Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans did a few games ago. Of course with the fantasy football playoffs beginning this week for most leagues, the timing couldn't be worse for Gronk's owners and that is especially true when you consider he came off a monster 9-catch game against the Bills this past Sunday. The hole in lineup for all Gronk owners is a big one but some possible solutions include his teammate Dwayne Allen, plus the emerging David Njoku from the Cleveland Browns. Also the Philadelphia Eagles' Trey Burton will be a hot commodity as well if Zach Ertz is forced to sit out Week 14 with a concussion. Still the stress if already being felt by Gronk's owners who have to deal with the fallout from his stupidity.
