Coming off an electric Week 13 where he caught 8 balls for 107 yards in continuing with what has been a tremendous breakout season, New York Jets wideout Robby Anderson became the toast of the fantasy football crowd. The formerly undrafted burner from Temple has been a true revelation this season for the Jets and his numbers overall (49 catches for 821 yards and 7 touchdowns) are that of a top WR 2. Unfortunately Anderson has been battling off-and-on hamstring trouble and it flared again on Thursday to where he had to leave practice early. The Jets and Anderson quickly tried to quell any concern by suggesting it was a precautionary move and that he would be out there for Sunday's game but his fantasy football owners now have a very volatile option on their hands. Where there is smoke there is fire when it comes to hamstring injuries and a flare-up could very well knock Anderson out early if he does in fact suit up. Since we are in the win-of-go-home portion of the fantasy football season, this is a risk that may not be worth taking. Throw in the fact Anderson would likely be covered by ace Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib and all of a sudden benching him outright seems to be the right thing to do.
