2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 13 INJURY WATCH: NO AMEER ABDULLAH, DOUG MARTIN DEMOTED

Some last minute changes and injury news to be aware of in this clinching Week 13 in fantasy football:

-As expected, the Detroit Lions will be without starting running back Ameer Abdullah who will sit with a sore neck.  Already Abdullah was tested the patience of his owners as he has not run well this season and also has been putting the football on the ground lately. Old friend Theo Riddick will start in Abdullah's place but he draws a rough matchup versus a stout Baltimore Ravens defense.  We all know how good a receiver Riddick is which makes him a decent enough start this week in PPR formats but his running leaves a lot to be desired.  Avoid him in standard leagues.

-The Tampa Bay Buc's announced Sunday that Peyton Barber would be the starting running back for Sunday's game versus the against the Green Bay Packers.  Doug Martin has been absolutely abysmal for the second year in a row and so his demotion is no shock.  Barber played well enough last week to earn the nod but the Packers run defense has been very good all season.  Do not get cute here with Barber in such a high stakes week.

-Aaron Jones is active for the Packers as he returns from a multi-week absence with a knee injury.  Jones will now split work with fellow rookie Jamaal Williams and both guys will hurt each other's fantasy football upside this week/  Look for alternatives.

-Finally, New York Jets veteran back Matt Forte is active for the team Sunday despite being limited in practice leading up to the game with knee soreness.  Forte will split work though with Bilal Powell which hurts both guys as well like in Green Bay with Jones/Williams.  Sit both if you can.
