Lake Buena Vista, Fla.-- The NY Yankees opened up more salary dealing third baseman Chase Headley and his $13 million salary with pitcher Bryan Mitchell to the San Diego Padres for minor leaguer Jabari Blash. The move is a precursor to the Yankees getting a starting pitcher as they are engaged in talks for the Tiger's Mike Fulmer and Arizona's Pat Corbin.
-Lots of laughs here regarding Neil Walker looking for four years. Not a chance with his back problems.
- The Padres are seriously engaged with Eric Hosmer and a deal could be done before the meetings end.
-The Seattle Mariners are making a decent push for Jay Bruce.
-The Rockies not only are looking to add Wade Davis but also Addison Reed.
