2017 FANTASY BASEBALL TRADE FALLOUT: MATT KEMP ON THE MOVE AGAIN AS HE HEADS BACK TO THE DODGERS

With the Atlanta Braves looking for an outfield spot for super-prospect Ronald Acuna, the team made it their mission to find a trade to remove aging veteran Matt Kemp from the clutter at the position.  Mission is now accomplished for the Braves on that front as they traded Kemp to the Los Angeles Dodgers for salary dump pitchers Brandon McCarthy, Scott Kazmir, shortstop Charlie Culberson, and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.  Kemp returns to the Dodgers where he was an MVP level player who filled up all five ROTO categories before injuries began to take the speed out of his game.  Meanwhile the Braves take on a bunch of bad contracts in McCarthy, Kazmir, and Gonzalez but they clear the way for Acuna who many feel is going to be an absolute stud.  The fantasy baseball fallout here mainly just concerns Kemp and Acuna on two different levels.  As far as Kemp is concerned, he moves away from the shocking home run-heavy ballpark the Braves unveiled last season to one of the best pitching parks in the game in Los Angeles.  That means chop off some power numbers from Kemp's ledger this season and so move him from a low-end OF 2 to a high-end OF 3.  With regards to Acuna, the sky is the limit here as Acuna has 20/40/.300 ability and he has future first-round pick written all over him.  The 2018 fantasy baseball stock of Acuna will only grow more immense after this trade and you should do what you can this season to gets your hands on the kid.
