2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 9 ISSUES: RYAN GRANT, CURTIS SAMUEL GOOD LATE PLAYS

Lots of chaos this week in fantasy football as we had an MLB-like trade deadline where big names relocated to new locales.  Injuries also are doing their weekly thing to stress out the fantasy football community as well.  With that said, here are two good plays for those who are scrambling a bit to fill wideout slots for Week 9.

Ryan Grant:  Coming off a five-catch game, the Washington Redskins' Ryan Grant will move into the slot today now that Jamison Crowder is sitting out Sunday's game versus the Seattle Seahawks with a hamstring injury.  This is a decent spot for Grant as top Seahawks CB Richard Sherman will be on either Josh Docston or Terrell Pryor and QB Kirk Cousins has used quite a high number of check downs so far this season.  Those in PPR should be especially intrigued with Grant who also has two receiving scores this season.

Curtis Samuel:  Speed, speed, and more speed here as Samuel moves up a run on the Carolina Panthers' receiving hierarchy now that Kelvin Benjamin has been traded to the Buffalo Bills.  Samuel looks a bit like Tyreek Hill on Kansas City and that alone makes him intriguing.  The rookie from Ohio State can help both in the run and receiving game and QB Cam Newton could be throwing a lot in a shootout versus the Atlanta Falcons.
