Already onto a second straight season of underwhelming/disappointing numbers, Houston Texans running back Lamar Miller now has to face the addition of receiving back Andre Ellington to the team after he inked a deal on Tuesday. With the Texans having lost rookie back D'Onte Foreman for the season with injury, the signing of Ellington will likely mean the former Arizona Cardinal will operate right away on third downs at the expense of Miller. That means any catches Miller previously would be in line for on obvious passing downs will fall by the wayside and combined with the rough rushing numbers, the overall picture here becomes very ugly. In fact Miller is now nothing but a firm RB 2 in all fantasy football leagues and that won't change the rest of the way. As far as Ellington is concerned, he still has zero value even in PPR leagues as he doesn't play enough snaps. Those who do own Miller really are well past the time of trying something else at your RB spot.
