Hope you took new Buffalo Bills wideout Kelvin Benjamin out of the lineup before kickoff as the recent acquisition surprisingly was a healthy scratch for the Thursday night game versus the New York Jets.  With that said, here are the fantasy football-worthy numbers to come out of the game.

-While he only threw for 140 yards (14-of-20), Jets QB Josh McCown kept on going with the scores as he rushed for a TD and tossed another.  McCown has been terrific in pretty much every start this season and we amazingly have reached a point where he is an every week start and even in single passer leagues.  Those who just lost DeShaun Watson should have McCown at the top of your replacement list.

Also on the potential Watson replacement list would be Bills QB Tyrod Taylor who is in the midst of his own career-year.  Even without new toy Benjamin, Taylor completed 29-of-40 passes for 285 yards with 2 TD and also rushed for 35 yards and another score.  Despite being under siege from the Jets pass rush all game, Taylor was tremendous and it continues the pattern of quietly very good week-to-week outings this season.  Taylor has always had the big arm and athleticism but not the accuracy.  That has not been the case the season and he too should be under the every-week-starting tier.

-I guess Matt Forte lit a fire under his own behind after popping off in the media this past week about the Jets' game plan in Week 8.  After being talked to by coach Todd Bowles, Forte made the most of his 14 carries Thursday by rushing for 77 yards and two scores, while also adding 4 catches for 19 more yards.  As Tony Romo said during the CBS broadcast, Forte still has some "juice" left to him.  The problem is that Bilal Powell (9 carries for 74) yards remains to take a bunch of work away.  That leaves Forte as barely worth RB 2 value in PPR leagues only.

On the other side, a rare off game by Bills running back LeSean McCoy put his owners in an early week hole as he rushed for just 25 yards on 12 carries and amazingly didn't catch a single pass.  You couldn't draw it up any worse for McCoy's owners who literally got nothing out of him after he went wild the previous month.  Ahhh fantasy football.

-The Jets really have something with Robby Anderson as the undrafted Temple speedster scored yet again as part of his 4 catches for 48 yard day.  Feel free to drop Jermaine Kearse (2 catches for 38 yards) as he has been completely passed by Anderson in the Jets' receiving hierarchy.  Meanwhile tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins had a TD taken away when he pushed off and overall had just 2 catches for 20 yards.

-With Benjamin out of the game, it was Deonte Thompson who was the receiving star of the game for the Bills as he caught 7 balls for 83 yards.  Of course it took Zay Jones getting injured for Thompson to get those additional looks but it was still a nice game.  Don't go crazy picking him up however since Benjamin will be back next week to take the number 1 wideout spot.

-So that Buffalo defense that was performing so well all season got absolutely destroyed last night.  In the Experts League I am starting at a -4 for the night as the Bills for some reason could not get a hold of the Jets attack.  Again one of those fantasy football things I guess.
