The setback suffered by Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck reportedly on Wednesday pretty much puts the final nail in the 2017 coffin for the franchise passer with regards to playing at all this year. Clearly the invasive shoulder surgery Luck underwent this past offseason was much serious than let on initially and the Colts also cleared erred in not placing him on PUP to at least begin the year in no doubt an attempt to save hope and help ticket sales. Well the fact of the matter is that the writing has been on the wall for awhile and so with no Luck serving as a beacon of hope, the high frustration level with ace Colts wideout T.Y. Hilton will likely continue. While Hilton has had some big games at home this season, his overall production has been way down as Jacoby Brissett simply doesn't have the arm strength and accuracy to unleash his wideouts true game-breaking abilities. A WR 1 in standard leagues coming into the year, Hilton is barely a WR 3 in all fantasy football leagues right now and that will continue the rest of the way. Things are a bit better for fellow wideout Donte Moncrief and in particular tight end Jack Doyle considering all of the short throes Brissett makes but both guys are backups at best. So now we can say the Colts' season and the numbers for Hilton are just completely going down the drain.
