The Kansas City Chiefs are for real at 4-0 and with a motivated and possibly ticked off QB playing out of his mind.  Let's get to all the fantasy football-worthy items coming out of the game.

-It took 11 seasons but Kansas City Chiefs QB Alex Smith might finally be an every week fantasy football QB in single passer formats.  A big Week 1 has carried over into the next three games, with Smith completing 27 of 37 throws for 293 yards with 1 TD; to go with 56 yards rushing and a second score on only 7 carries.  Smith has always been very accurate and he now has his best stable of weapons since arriving in K.C.  Ride it out as they say.

On the other side, Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins was just all right in completing 14-of-24 throws for 220 yards with 2 TD's and 38 rushing yards.  The two TD's were the key of course and helped save the day when the yardage fell short.  While behind on last year's per game rates, Cousins is still a solid low-end QB 1.

-Another game and another 100 yards rushing for Chiefs rookie back Kareem Hunt.  It did take 27 carries but Hunt picked up 101 yards on the ground and another 20 in the air on 4 catches.  The kid is showing no signs of slowing down and remains the steal of 2017 drafts.

Meanwhile if Cousins was your leading rusher, the Redskins running backs had a terrible day.  Samaje Perine only picked up 27 yards on 6 carries, while Chris Thompson added 23 on 6 with a lost fumble.  Rob Kelley could be back this week which will destroy any Perine value and make Thompson just a RB 3 in PPR.

-Ryan Grant made the most of his two catches for 16 yards and a score.  Grant has good speed but he is not worth adding given the fact he is down the receiving depth chart.  Terrell Pryor caught the the TD as part of his 3-catch day for 70 yards.  So far Pryor has not lived up to the preseason hype and barely has been a WR 3.  Finally Jordan Reed contributed just three catches for 21 yards as he looks completely unhealthy.  Told you not to get involved here.

The Chiefs got another big game from tight end Travis Kelce who caught 7 balls for 111 yards and a score.  Let there be no debate that Kelce is the number 1 tight end now in fantasy football given his durability over Rob Gronkowski.  Also it was a quiet game for Tyreek Hill who managed just 35 yards on 5 catches.  I said he would run hot-and-cold like a DeSean Jackson and this is what is taking place.
