2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL TRADE DEADLINE MOVES: 49ERS GET THEIR FRANCHISE QB BY ACQUIRING JIMMY GARAPPOLO

The New England Patriots finally found an offer they liked for top backup QB Jimmy Garrappolo and it was a second-round pick from the San Francisco 49ers that got it done as the teams agree to a deal late Monday night.  Garappolo will now become the new franchise QB for the winless 49ers who have been desperately searching for a passer for years.  The 49ers already cut loose veteran Brian Hoyer (who could catch on quickly in Green Bay) and now the Pats have moved both Garappolo and Jacoby Brissett this season as the Tom Brady Show will continue on uninterrupted for a few more seasons.  While Garrappolo has to learn the offense, he should garner some fantasy football attention in two passer leagues and his arrival also will be a boost to the skills player on the 49ers offense.
