Almost from the start, Adrian Peterson looked like a square peg in a round hole on the New Orleans Saints offense. With Mark Ingram still a big part of the plans and rookie pass-catching back Alvin Kamara quickly becoming a Sean Payton favorite, Peterson had virtually no role as he barely got any carries the first four games of the year. Sensing this, Peterson then began complaining of his role on the team as his fantasy football value dropped off the map. Enter in the RB-needy Arizona Cardinals who acquired Peterson on Tuesday to help make up for the ongoing loss of David Johnson. With Chris Johnson showing he is finished, the Cards now bring Peterson in to try and see if he there is any gas left in the proverbial tank. While on the surface this move is a boost to Peterson's fantasy football value given the fact he will now have a clear path to a high amount of carries, the O-line in Arizona is a joke and the former All-Pro looks pretty shot himself. Yes Peterson is worth a waiver add this week given the fresh start but don't expected miracles with this.
