Hope you listened. Back in the summer and in the pages of our 2017 Fantasy Sports Boss Fantasy Football Draft Guide, we suggested in very strong terms to avoid Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray and went so far as to call him a major draft bust despite coming off a monster comeback campaign the year prior when he rushed for 1,287 yards and caught 53 passes. As good as those numbers were, Murray scared the heck out of us on a number of fronts. The first being that Murray has had a ton of mileage already on his legs as an annual workhorse since coming into the league. Now at the scary age of 29 when most backs begin to decline, Murray has struggled badly with injuries this season to the point he may sit in Week 7 with a bum hamstring that has bugged him for awhile now. In addition, the presence of second-year back Derrick Henry behind Murray is a big problem for him as well since the Titans front office drafted the Heisman Alabama power runner and thus have an itch to play him. With Henry having outplayed Murray so far and possibly looking at the chance to be the bellcow back in the latter's place this week, a complete hierarchy change could be in order. This is no surprise to our staff since we sounded the alarm on Murray back in the summer and anyone who owns shares in Henry have to feel good going forward with their guy. As for the Murray owners, well you SHOULD have listened.
