2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKING NEWS: GIANTS LOSE BOTH STERLING SHEPARD AND BRANDON MARSHALL TO INJURY

First New York Giants wideout Sterling Shepard went down with an ankle injury during the second quarter of the team's Sunday game versus the Los Angeles Chargers and almost immediately thereafter, Brandon Marshall was carted off with a possible torn Achilles.  Already coming into the game 0-4, the Giants day so far can go under the heading "when it rains, it pours."  In terms of severity, Marshall is in big potential jeopardy of having his season finished as it looks like a classic torn Achilles and Shepard was seen in an air cast which means his ankle problem could be of the high variety which requires 2-4 weeks to heal.  This is awful news for Giants QB Eli Manning as his weapons will be shrinking drastically and so tight end Evan Engram and Odell Beckham Jr. will see more targets.
