Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert was a no-go in practice on Wednesday and his status for Week 3 is considered iffy at best due to his battling neck and back pain. With just four catches in the first two games, Eifert has been a colossal bust thus far and is continuing a frustrating trend which began in 2015. I said on Sunday that we are already reaching the point where dropping Eifert is not the worst idea in the world and replacing him with a Evan Engram, Jason Witten, or an Eric Ebron is looking like a smart move.
