2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 1 NEWS: ODELL BECKHAM (ANKLE) NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY

New York Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is not expected to suit up for Sunday night's game versus the Dallas Cowboys due to the persistent pain he is feeling in his ankle which he suffered an injury to back in the second preseason contest.  While Beckham has traveled with the team, he was not going to be able to practice on Friday if the Giants in fact held a workout according to head coach Ben McAdoo.  Also if Beckham were to be able to go, it is likely he would play just one obvious passing downs.  What all this means is that Beckham fantasy football owners have all the information they need now to not take a chance and put him in their lineups.  Meanwhile those who own stock in Brandon Marshall and Sterling Sheapard are going to see a vast uptick in targets which elevates their Week 1 prospects.
