2017 FANTASY FOOTBALL ISSUES: EZEKIEL ELLIOTT WINS THE END, SET FOR FULL 2017 CAMPAIGN

And in the end it looks like Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott wins.  At least for 2017.  Echoing what New England Patriots QB Tom Brady accomplished when his four-game deflategate suspension was stayed through an injunction back in 2015, Elliott matched that development on Friday when he was granted a restraining order from a Texas district court and so now this saga will drag on and on.  The bottom line is that Elliott is likely to play most or all of the 2017 fantasy football season, with there just being a bit of a threat the suspension could be put back in place in November when the proceedings move along.  Still those who gambled and took Elliott in Round 2 or later really make out in a major way in getting a top three overall fantasy football talent that late.  In the Experts League Elliott went with the number 16 pick overall and I missed getting him by two slots.  I doubt I am the only one feeling some regret here.
