First he loses his starting QB and now Miami Dolphins slot dynamo wide receiver Jarvis Landry could be in trouble with the law as reports surfaced Monday that he was involved in some sort of domestic violence with his girlfriend who is also the mother of his child. The case is currently being investigated and has been handed over to the district attorney's office for further evaluation. As we know, incidents such as this are very serious and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has shown he has zero tolerance for any player who gets involved with it. So right off the bat a possible suspension is now in play for Landry and it could impact 2017 depending on how quickly the investigation is conducted. Now Landry's girlfriend apparently is not cooperating but Goodell (and his counterpart in MLB Rob Manfred) have shown no hesitancy to suspend a player even if he is not charged with a crime. So as a result, Landry should be dropped down even further in 2017 fantasy football cheat sheets and that is before even digesting the loss of Tannehill. As we noted yesterday, the loss of Tannehill and the wishes of head coach Adam Gase that the Miami offense is run-heavy all now conspire to make it almost impossible for Landry to catch 100 balls which has been his fantasy football calling card. Since he is always light on scores, Landry drops to as low as a WR 3 with all of this surrounding him this summer. Adjust accordingly.
