Well at least we don't have to have at three running back debate anymore in terms of who should be drafted number 1 overall in 2017 fantasy football. Strike Dallas Cowboys second-year back Ezekiel Elliott from that argument as he is now embroiled in a SECOND off-the-field incident which came to light early Monday. As if the reported domestic violence incident prior to his rookie year was not bad enough, Elliott now apparently was involved in a bar scuffle that resulted in him being accused of breaking a patron's nose. Prior to the latest mishap, Elliott was looking at a likely two game suspension for the domestic violence. Now this latest incident could add a third game (with likely one being chopped off on appeal). This makes it a lock now that Elliott should not be drafted not even first overall but also out of the top five. The new top five should be David Johnson, Le'Veon Bell, Julio Jones, Odell Beckham Jr., and Antonio Brown in various orders and you can now make the case that LeSean McCoy, DeMarco Murray, and Jay Ajayi should be picked ahead of Elliott at running back. Two or three missed games right away is a big problem for a player's potential fantasy football value and so Elliott is seeing his stock drop quick.
