The Houston Astros have been on a never-ending quest for a closer they feel confident going into the postseason with and that is not a feeling they currently have with the hot-and-cold Ken Giles. Thus it is no shock the Astros remain heavily in on Baltimore Orioles All-Star closer Zach Britton and in fact are the prime competition for his services along with the Los Angeles Dodgers. While Britton would set up for Dodgers insanely great closer Kenley Jansen, he would inherit the ninth inning if he was in fact moved to the Astros in place of Giles. Right now reports indicate that the Dodgers are in the lead on Britton but the Astros have been known to swing deals when needed.
