Carlos Carrasco:  5.1 IP 7 H 2 ER 1 BB 4 K with an ERA of 3.36.  Carrasco was once again shaky for fourth time in last five.  He is not healthy.

Chris Archer:  6 IP 7 H 4 ER 3 BB 8 K with an ERA of 3.80.  As an Archer owner, I can attest to those who say he always leaves you wanting a bit more.

Ivan Nova:  6 IP 1 H 0 ER 0 BB 4 K with an ERA of 2.83.  Every struggling starter out there who will be a free agent needs to get themselves to Pittsburgh where no career can't be reignited.

Seth Lugo:  7 IP 6 H 1 ER 2 BB 6 K with an ERA of 1.29.  Lugo proved himself as a nice NL-only starter last season and an SP 5 option in deeper leagues.  He is pitching with a partially torn UCL though so temper any enthusiasm.

Ben Zobrist:  2/4 with his 7th HR while hitting. 228.  Not much left happening here.

Addison Russell:  2/4 with his 4th HR while hitting .213.  I hate the guy even more now.

Kyle Schwarber:  1/1 with his 11th HR while hitting .171.  Well at least those who forgot to change their lineups got something out of Schwarber today.

Jake Arrieta:  4.1 IP 5 H 4 ER 3 BB 3 K with an ERA of 4.68.  Amazing how pretty much every pitcher I called a bust the previous offseason has fallen flat on their faces.  Let by this guy.

Gary Sanchez:  1/5 with his 10th HR while hitting .276.  Sanchez is stinking hot right now that nothing can gets past his bat.  No one does insane home run binges better.

Aaron Judge:  4/4 with 2 home runs (21 for season) while hitting .344.  Do you believe this guy?  This is video game stuff right now, right on down to the 495 feet one of the homers went.

Starlin Castro:  2/5 with his 12th HR while hitting .325.  It seems like Castro, Judge, and Sanchez have hit a home run every day for the last week.

Cameron Maybin:  2/4 with 2 steals (19 for season) while hitting .261.  Maybin is absolutely running wild right now and he is single-handily making a difference in the stolen base category on a per game basis.

George Springer:  1/4 with his 17th HR while hitting .278.  I think all Springer owners would sign up for a season-ending .278 average right now.

Max Scherzer:  7.1 IP 3 H 2 ER 1 BB 10 K with an ERA of 2.36.  Tough luck loss for Scherzer but the guy has been as dominant as ever.

Cody Bellinger:  2/4 with 2 home runs (15 for season) while hitting .248.  Three home runs in two games now for Bellinger who has fully come out of his rut.  Like I mentioned yesterday, Bellinger is showing the average concerns I had for him coming into the year and that will determine how high his value will go.

Corey Seager:  2/4 with his 9th HR while hitting .279.  Ask the Seager owners out there and many will say they have been disappointed so far.  If this qualifies as a sophomore slump though, Seager's owners are doing just fine.

Adam Duvall:  1/5 with his 15th HR while hitting .278.  See Bellinger, Cody above.

Scott Schebler:  2/4 with his 18th HR while hitting .244.  I predict Schebler will hit .270 at least before the end of the season.  The BABIP luck has been horrendous and should turn eventually.

Joey Votto:  1/5 with his 18th HR while hitting .300.  Aaron Judge is getting all the pop and rightfully so but this guy can firmly challenge him for the fantasy baseball MVP of 2017.

Devin Mesoraco:  2/4 with his 5th HR while hitting .240.  Second home run in two days for Mesoraco and we have reached the point now where he should be picked up.

Raisel Iglesias:  first blown save with 4 ER in .2 IP with an ERA of 1.69.  It was brutal but Iglesias can be forgiven about this as he was way overdue for a clunker.

Robbie Ray:  6.2 IP 3 H 0 ER 4 BB 12 K with an ERA of 2.62.  Wow.  Great sign here as Ray historically has struggled at home but he continues on his insane tear over the last month.  Stardom close by.

Chase Anderson:  6 IP 4 H 1 ER 1 BB 8 K with an ERA of 2.83.  Even when he loses Anderson is great.
