The Philadelphia Phillies placed second baseman Cesar Hernandez on the 10-day DL Sunday due to a strained oblique suffered in Friday night's game. At the age of 27, Hernandez rode a very hot start of the season to emerge as a viable daily league fantasy baseball second base option as he has a collective .277 average with 5 home runs and 6 steals while leading off for the Phils. While Hernandez has cooled since his big start, he at the very least should be backup material in mixed fantasy baseball leagues and is worth stashing.
