Like we first some speculated early this morning, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman suffered a fractured wrist that will sideline him for at least 8 weeks. The fracture was confirmed by an MRI and so the worst case scenario unfolded for his fantasy baseball owners. This is a huge loss no doubt as Freeman was hitting like an MVP and you can argue he was the most valuable fantasy baseball first baseman outside of Paul Goldschmidt. Needless to say, this is as big an injury as it gets and it leaves a gaping hole in his owner's lineups. This season has been unlike any other in fantasy baseball history given the insane amount of injuries and now it seems like the healthiest roster will take home the title.

I have Freeman and now have 6 guys on the DL. One will have to go, we only get 4 slots (Donaldson should come off soon so will just eat those games until he does). Others are Pollock and Polanco. So do I get rid of Dahl or J. Gray? One has to go to make room.
ReplyDeleteDahl since you have plenty of OF's
