FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FALLOUT: THREE MONTH ABSENCE EXPECTED FOR NOAH SYNDEGAARD

As we first reported right after the torn lat diagnosis, New York Mets ace pitcher Noah Syndegaard will likely be out at least three months and maybe the entire season if the team is out of contention down the stretch.  Syndegaard was diagnosed with the partially torn lat muscle on Monday and needless to say, the effects are truly devastating for his fantasy baseball owners.  We will never know if the earlier biceps pain Syndegaard suffered was related to the lat tear but either way the 2017 season can already be considered a disaster for Thor.
