The Chicago Cubs placed outfielder Jason Heyward on the 10-day DL on Monday due to a sprained finger on his right hand and the move was backdated to May 6th. Heyward originally suffered the injury last Friday and not enough improvement was seen which necessitated the placement on the DL. While he did get off to a decent start to the year, Heyward is already down to a .255 average. He has hit 3 home runs but Heyward still is nothing but bench material in all fantasy baseball leagues.
