FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING INJURY NEWS: PARTIAL LAT MUSCLE TEAR TO KEEP NOAH SYNDEGAARD OUT UNTIL JUNE

Ugh.  The MRI results are in on New York Mets ace Noah Syndegaard and they are not great as it was revealed he suffered a partial lat tear that will likely keep him out for all of May and likely longer.  Syndegaard in the last week has dealt with biceps soreness and then got shelled in less than two innings when he tried to pitch Sunday before clutching his arm.  Obviously Syndegaard's loss is as big as it gets but you had to know going in as an owner that this was a very realistic happening given how hard he throws.  It also is a reminder that you should never draft starting pitchers high in yearly fantasy baseball drafts no matter how talented an arm is due to the high rate of injury.  Syndegaard joins Madison Bumgarner as the biggest pitching losses of the fantasy baseball season so far.
