Ahhhh Matt Harvey. Don't you ever learn? Sunday was a bad day for Harvey as the New York Mets suspended their former ace for his outing that day due to reportedly not showing up to the park for Saturday's game. Harvey tried to defend himself by saying he had a migraine and that there was miscommunication but GM Sandy Alderson showed you what he thought of that excuse by suspending him for the start. There are more than a few instances of Harvey having a run-in with the team and on top of that, his pitching has been lousy as his ERA stands at 5.14, which is also the exact number of his pathetic K/9 rate. Once a sure-fire top ten fantasy baseball on the strength of his power strikeout stuff, Harvey is barely worth owning and he is only on rosters given his name brand. The Mets in now way, shape, or form will re-sign Harvey when he is free after 2018 and this could get them to move him this winter.
