Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell confirmed on Friday that Neftali Feliz has been removed as the team's closer and instead setup man Corey Knebel is expected to handle ninth inning duties going forward. Feliz has really struggled of late as his ERA soared past 6.00 and his velocity remains a ways down from 2016. Meanwhile Knebel has been one of the best setup men in baseball so far this season and he has the strikeout stuff to be an immediate asset closing games. I told you to make the move on Knebel yesterday and by now it is likely too late to snag him off of waivers. Feliz can also be safely dropped despite Counsell saying he wants to "fix him" with the idea of possibly going back to him as closer. It won't happen so buy all-in on Knebel.
