Anyone who has owned Milwaukee Brewers closer Neftali Feliz this season knows how trying the experience has been to say the least. Having been hit around in a very high amount of outings this season, Feliz might have reached rock bottom Thursday when he gave up 3 hits and 2 earned runs in just .1 IP against the Boston Red Sox. That outing raised Feliz' ERA to a horrific 6.19 and his WHIP to 1.31. With the velocity down again this season after a mini-rebound in 2016, a change needs to be made here. Standing ready to go in Feliz's place is setup man Corey Knebel who has been dominant all season in registering a 1.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 26 K's in 19.1 innings. Those are closer strikeout numbers for Knebel and it is clear that Feliz belongs with Fernando Rodney, K-Rod, and Jeanmar Gomez as guys who were closers in name only when the season started. Pick up Knebel now.
