The New York Yankees placed All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman on the 10-day DL early Sunday with what the team is calling a sore pitching shoulder. Dellin Betances will now close in Chapman's place and further testing will determine how long the latter will be out. Alarms went off early last week when Chapman was pointing to his shoulder during a blown save and left rotator cuff inflammation was eventually discovered. Yet another closer goes down early as Chapman joins Zach Britton as top three guys who are now on the DL. Betances will see a major uptick in fantasy baseball value as a result of the injury but his ability to close out games is still in question after he struggled once Chapman and Andrew Miller were traded last summer.
