FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: NOAH SYNDEGAARD EXITS AFTER SIX WITH APPARENT BLISTER

After throwing six shutout innings in his Opening Day start versus the Atlanta Braves, Noah Syndegaard was forced out after 85 pitches with an apparent blister.  Syndegaard was seen in the dugout after getting out of a jam in the sixth looking at his finger with Terry Collins and Hansel Robles came on in relief in the seventh.

Prior to the blister, Syndegaard was his typical dominant self as he pitched six shutout frames with five hits and no walks.  He also punched out 7 Braves in firing off a series of 100-mph fastballs.  In the sixth thought Syndegaard's velocity dropped down to the low-90's which could be attributed to the blister.  Anyone who has owned Josh Beckett in the past know how annoying a blister can be but hopefully it is a one-game deal.
