With the Cincinnati Reds in a clear rebuild, they began taking a look at their prospects Friday when they announced the promotion of outfielder Jesse Winker. The former first round supplemental pick in 2012, Winker was hitting .323 at Triple-A in 8 games prior to the call. In terms of fantasy baseball, this is not a run to the wire move as Winker has a bit of an empty bat. One only has to look at his Triple-A numbers last season when Winker hit .303 in 448 at-bats but with just 3 home runs and 0 steals. In other words, there is not much help here in terms of numbers.
