Just hours after signing free agent deep threat Torry Smith, the Philadelphia Eagles double-dipped at the position on Thursday by reeling in WR 1 Alshon Jeffery with a one-year deal worth $14 million. Jeffery was coming off a disappointing 2016 to say the least where he got hurt again and dealt with a four game PED suspension and so the one-year deal is a chance for him to rebuild his value and take another crack at free agency in 2018. Meanwhile all of a sudden QB Carson Wentz looks like a swell fantasy football sleeper for next season given his vast array of receivers that now go four-deep. As long as he can remain healthy, Jeffery should once again be knocking on the WR 1 door.
