FANTASY FOOTBALL FREE AGENCY SIGNINGS: MIKE GLENNON NETS THREE-YEAR DEAL FROM BEARS

The Chicago Bears will try again in their never-ending pursuit of a franchise QB as they signed Mike Glennon to a three-year deal worth $45 million.  Evoking comparisons to Brock Osweiler as a guy who has had limited NFL starting experience but is being paid on potential, Glennon replaced Jay Cutler who figures to get cut by the time you read this.  Glennon showed flashes of decent ability when he first started out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but the drafting of Jameis Winston stunted his growth.  We won't make the same mistake we did with Osweiler last season in diving in on an unproven guy with upside like Glennon shows but down the road he could be worthy of backup status if he develops.
