-Drew Pomeranz finally made his spring debut on Tuesday for the Boston Red Sox and it was not a great outing as he gave up two runs in two innings against the Toronto Blue Jays.  There has been elbow trouble here going back to last season and with the move from San Diego to Boston, Pomeranz is shaky fantasy baseball investment as it is.

-Corey Dickerson has been on fire all spring and he kept it up on Tuesday as he went 4-for-4 for the Tampa Bay Rays against the Baltimore Orioles.  Yes Dickerson's average cratered moving from Colorado to Tampa Bay last year but that should not have been a surprise.  Instead you should focus on how Dickerson still hit for very good power and he could hit 25 home runs and collect 80 RBI for a dirt cheap fantasy baseball draft price this spring.  I would be buying given how far his value has fallen.

-Ugh Blake Snell's control.  He walked FIVE Orioles in his start on Tuesday but kept the damage to the minimum by giving up 1 run in 2.2 innings.  Now Snell only had one walk this spring coming into this outing but the kid was horrendous in his rookie debut a year ago on that front for the Rays.  The power upside is tremendous but Snell's WHIP could be unsightly and wins hard to come by if he continues to walk the ballpark.

-Zach Britton finally made his spring debut but he showed rust in giving up two runs in one inning.  The big thing is that Britton's previously strained oblique is just fine and he once again should be a top three fantasy baseball closer this season.

-Matt Boyd is sewing up a rotation spot for the Detroit Tigers as he threw five shutout innings Tuesday with 5 strikeouts against the Miami Marlins.  Boyd got off to a rough start in the exhibition season but he is coming on of late.  He is only worth an SP 5 speculative pick in deeper leagues however.

-Justin Upton smacked a home run off Jose Urena of the Marlins Tuesday which was his fourth.  The .250 average is not so hot but this is par for the course now for Upton who is quite overrated.  With his steals slipping and the average now firmly set in the .250 range, Upton is a feast-or-famine fantasy baseball outfielder once again on a daily basis this season.

-Jerad Eickhoff was in desperate need of good outing for the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday and he got it as he shut out the Atlanta Braves in his five innings outing.  Eickoff gave up just 3 hits and a walk and struck out five as he lowered his spring ERA to 4.85.  That ERA is still nasty but Eickoff is a guy I have liked for awhile now as he has excellent control and decent 160-K stuff to be a top SP 5.
-My goodness Yoenis Cespedes has been red hot this spring as he cracked his fifth home run of the exhibition slate.  There was talk that getting paid would result in a somewhat depressed numbers season for Cespedes but instead he looks like he wants to challenge for the MVP.  He is a mid-OF 1 in 2017 fantasy baseball who is only held back from top tier status due to a lack of stolen bases.

-Jacob DeGrom arguably has been the most dominant pitcher of spring training as he threw four innings of on-run ball Tuesday against the Houston Astros.  DeGrom struck out six as his fastball hit the high-90's again.  Clearly the elbow surgery that got DeGrom shut down early last season has been a big success and he seems set to re-establish himself as a top ten fantasy baseball ace.

-Wow Lance McCullers has potent power stuff.  He punched out six Mets in his 3 innings of work and gave up 2 runs.  So far the health has cooperated with McCullers and that is the only thing that is holding back this future ace.
