2017 FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FALLOUT: OPENING DAY IN JEOPARDY FOR DAVID DAHL

Some distressing news was shared by Colorado Rockies managed Bud Black on Friday when he cast doubt on whether top outfield prospect David Dahl will be ready for Opening Day given the fact his back injury has become more serious than originally thought.  Dahl is not close to returning to game activity given the back pain that flared up last week and so Gerardo Parra is becoming more likely a player who will start in the outfield with Charlie Blackmon and Carlos Gonzalez.  Dahl of course is the new darling in fantasy baseball given the Coors Field allure and his five-tool potential.  Right now Dahl's ADP is 94.3 which should drop given this news.  While Dahl has all the potential in the world, a back injury is quite bad for a hitter to deal with.  Also Parra has a chance to claim the job himself with a big start to the season so this bears watching.
