Cincinnati Reds pitchers Anthony DeScalfani suffered a setback with his elbow and will head for an MRI according to a team report early Sunday morning. DeScalfani was just making his way close to a mound for the first time this spring after dealing with elbow soreness at the start of spring training but now he has been completely put on hold due to the setback. The renewed soreness cropped up after DeScalfani's latest bullpen session and now for those who own him, a prolonged absence is likely here. While DeScalfani is not a guy who many will fight over in drafts this season in fantasy baseball, his solid ratios and decent K/9 rate made him a good SP 5 candidate. Now he is likely out for all of April and likely longer depending on the severity of the elbow.
