Boston Red Sox ace lefty David Price will be allowed to throw either on Friday or Saturday which will be his first workout since coming down with an elbow scare last week. No surgery was recommended for Price as his UCL was apparently intact but he is still far from a certainty to be ready for Opening Day. Right now your best course of action with Price is to avoid him altogether and let him be someone else's problem in your league. There is no guarantee Price will feel good when he throws this weekend and he is about 50/50 at best to be ready Opening Day. With a fastball velocity that dropped a full two mph last season which resulted in a massive jump in his HR/9 rate, Price is a risk all the way around.
