Houston Astros catcher/DH Evan Gattis received an anti-inflammatory shot in his right shoulder on Wednesday which kept him from a scheduled bullpen session but both he and the team say he is just day-to-day. Gattis is expected to be the primary DH for the Astros this season but he retains the all-important catcher eligibility for 2017 fantasy baseball. I already have spoken about what a good buy Gattis is as his expected numbers should be similar or maybe even better then Kyle Schwarber but he comes 6-8 rounds cheaper. I am buying as long as this latest injury turns out to be nothing. And let the injury scare be a reminder that if you do draft Gattis, make sure you back him up with someone decent.
