The bye came at a bad time for rehabbing New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis as it looked like he would have been able to go in Week 9 if the team had actually been playing a game. That is the big news surrounding Lewis who is pretty much completely recovered from the knee he shredded up in 2015; a year that was shaping up to be a monster breakout for the multi-talented back. After doing next-to-nothing his first few years in the league with the Philadelphia Eagles, Lewis became an insant favorite of Bill Belichick and the rest as they say is history as he came out of the 2015 running and receiving all over the field. In just 7 games, Lewis rushed for 234 yards on 49 carries (4.8 per run) and two touchdowns, while also catching 36 passes for 388 yards and another score. It was a performance that Darren Sproles would have admired and it is the same role Lewis will play when he gets back in Week 10. We have been saying for a few weeks now to make a pickup of Lewis before word gets around that he is close to returning and now may be your last chance to do so. Those in PPR should have already been all over this. Lewis could be a big difference-maker down the stretch for the price of a waiver claim.
