FANTASY FOOTBALL MONDYA NIGHT WRAPUP: GIANTS/BENGALS

Yet another week is in the books in fantasy football and so let's see what came out of Monday night's game between the New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals.

-Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert is showing why he was worth the wait as he caught 3 passes for 96 yards Monday night.  Eifert was a monster in his 2016 breakout in Week 9 and continues to round into form after missing the first two months of the season with injury.  He is every bit a top ten fantasy football tight end and maybe top five if he keeps looking like this.

-Sterling Shepard has had a fine rookie season and has a very bright future by the looks of it.  He caught another touchdown Monday night as part of his five-catch and 42-yard night.  While Shepard has been good, his yardage total is low and his overall reception total barely has him in WR 3 territory.

-A.J. Green gutted things out Monday night as he caught 7 balls for 68 yards and one TD.  He was visibly hobbling at times during the second half but made it through the remainder of the game.  He is well on his way to another huge WR 1 season as expected.

-As we said last week, Eli Manning is showing why we were so high on him this season.  It took until mid-October for Manning to reach his recent hot streak but he is there now as he completed 28-0f-44 throws for 240 yards with 3 TD and 1 INT.  Manning still annoys with the picks but he now has 6 TD's the last two games.

-A major reason Manning is so hot right now is due to the contributions of his ace wideout as Odell Beckham Jr. caught 10 passes for 97 yards and a TD.  One major theme in Beckham's young career is that from mid-October onward, he does his best work both with high reception totals and high TD counts.

-Rashad Jennings finally put forth something useful on Monday night as he rushed for 87 yards on 15 carries, while also catching 3 passes for another 22 yards.  Still Jennings is just a RB 4 given how bad the run-blocking game has been on the Giants this season.
