FANTASY BASEBALL HOT STOVE SIGNINGS: CARDS BOLSTER BULLPEN WITH BRETT CECIL

Once again the St. Louis Cardinals are concentrating heavily on pitching during the winter months which has been the strength of the team going back to when Dave Duncan was the best pitching coach in the game.  The team bolstered the bullpen on Saturday by inking lefty reliever Brett Cecil to a four-year deal worth what could be up to $30 million.  A failed closer but a top setup man previously with the Toronto Blue Jays, Cecil pitched to a 3.93 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and struck out an impressive 45 batters in 36.2 innings.  He has little to no fantasy baseball value however as Cecil will act as a lefty setup man in front of sudden star closer Seung-Hwan Oh.
