Week 6 is already approaching so let's see who should be the prime WAIVER ADDS for the upcoming slate of games.

Brian Hoyer:  Early Sunday I told you all to pick up Hoyer and use him as a starter against the weak Indianapolis Colts defense with some big names like Drew Brees on the bye and Cam Newton injured.  I took my own advice and went with Hoyer and needless to say it worked out nicely as he threw for 397 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Hoyer how now thrown for 2 touchdowns in each of his three starts and the weaponry in Chicago is quite potent with Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royals, Jordan Howard, Zach Miller and company.

Colin Kaepernick:  This is only for those in two-QB formats as Kap was endorsed as the starter for Week 6 which gives up the chance to see how Chip Kelly uses him in the offense.  Kelly runs a system close to what Jim Harbaugh did when Kapernick looked like the next big thing at QB and so that alone should get him a look.

Marcus Mariota:  If anyone dropped Mariota in your league, now would be the time to strike while the iron is hot as he comes off a composite 4-TD day (3 passing, 1 rushing) in Week 5.  While the supporting cast leaves a lot to be desired, Mariota has a great matchup this week versus Cleveland.

Devontae Booker:  All C.J. Anderson owners should be wary after the pass-catching speedster known as Devontae Booker took almost half the carries last week against Atlanta.  While Anderson is still the starter, he has not been very good since the opener which has knocked the door open for Booker.  Times are a changing there.

James Starks:  With Eddie Lacy's status up in the air with a bum ankle, Starks could be an option in PPR leagues only since he can catch the ball.

Kenneth Dixon:  One false step from Terrance West and Kenneth Dixon could do a Jordan Howard for the Baltimore Ravens.  Right now West will likely get 75 percent of the carries to Dixon's 25 but that could easily change if the former falters.

Cameron Artis-Payne:  It is likely someone dropped Artis-Payne after his listless first two outings in place of the injured Jonathan Stewart.  Artis-Payne though was huge Monday night as he rushed for over 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and that bodes well for him going forward until Stewart gets back.

Sammie Coates:  Perhaps the biggest receiving and maybe even overall GET this week is Pittsburgh Steelers deep threat Sammie Coates who just got done torching the New York Jets seocndary as he caught 6 balls for 139 yards and 2 scores.  With a great matchup versus the awful Miami Dolphins defense on tap, Coates looks ready for an extended run of big games.

Cameron Meredith:  Yeah nobody saw that coming in terms of Meredith coming off the bench to catch 9 passes for 130 yards and a score Sunday in place of the injured Kevin White.  With the Bears throwing it at will, Meredith needs to be a major pickup in PPR formats.
