New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings will sit out again in Week 5 versus the Green Bay Packers due to the fact he was unable to catch the football consistently in practice as he continues to deal with a stubborn thumb injury. Orleans Darkwa will start in his place, while Bobby Rainey will handle third downs.
Analysis: We were told Wednesday Jennings would be able to give it a go but that was before a reportedly awful practice on Thursday where he couldn't catch passes with the thumb. The Packers run defense is much better than their pass protection which means Darkwa won't automatically have a big day but in an expected shootout, Rainey could have some value in PPR leagues.
